EXTRAORDINARY S1

Wilderness had the privilege of working with Disney+ on the launch of their first UK original, Extraordinary. 

Our focus was to drive awareness of an exciting new show directly aimed at adult streamers.

Wilderness wanted to support Disney+ in shaking up brand perceptions, creating a new show fandom & being noisy on social media through humorous, relatable and unapologetic tone of voice, worthy of the show.

By the end of the campaign Wilderness had curated a bank of refreshingly honest content for Extraordinary that took prospective users from consideration to conversion whilst championing this surprising addition to the Disney+ catalogue.

THE BEAR S2

Wilderness worked on Pre-TX, TX and Post-TX assets for the highly anticipated second series of The Bear.

The team worked closely with the D+ team to ensure content met all guidelines supplied by FX, whilst ensuring they had strong content to post at all stages of the campaign.

Wilderness used social listening to identify moments from S1 that fans loved, including the phrase ‘Yes Chef’, finding an insight about how it had infiltrated peoples lives and their day to day language after binge watching the show. This insight led to the creation of a montage showing every time the phrase was spoken within S1 - reminding fans of the show they love, through a memorable line and a fast paced cut, mirroring the intensity the series held.

When Series 2 released, Wilderness were quick to research what was performing well with fans through social listening. It was found that fans were loving the additional guest stars featured throughout and especially the ‘Fishes’ episode, which is the most intense episode within the series. The team were quickly able to create a carousel and a still, so Disney+ were able to talk about these fan-favourite moments and be a leader of the fan conversation around The Bear.

ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING S3

Wilderness worked on assets for TX and Post-TX for the new series of the much loved Only Murders In The Building.

The team worked closely with the D+ team to ensure content met all guidelines supplied by Hulu.

Wilderness created a Funniest Moments montage reel, taking the opportunity to remind fans of the humour within the show and the moments they loved from the previous series.
